It was the foolish Christopher Anderson that unfortunately signed Lomu for the SHarks, not the wise and almighty Stu Raper.

I am so sorry that through this feeder agreement you have to have rubbish like Lomu in your team each week. I wouldn't wish him on the Dragons - (perhaps Manly though!)

Hopefully the useless piece of junk is no impediment to another Newtown premiership in 2005 :D

The couple times I have seen him play he has gone alright. Scored one memorable try several weeks ago as he bustled his way thru several defenders to power his way over the line.

We have had worse that is for sure

Don't apologise we rate him highly, he has received a couple of awards and has been terrific, must be the Henson Park BBQ and the 8972 who love each and every player who pulls on the royal blue jersey.

With a passion that brings a knot to ones throat Bluebag, a bloody passion mate....

As long as they give 100 percent I always will. Just cannot stand a player who puts on the royal blue and gives anything less.

Miss players like COOKEY, Bilal NAJJARIN, Chris WILLIAMS, Flemo, Peter BUANGART, Alfie DUNCAN, Westy, etc ( the list is endless ). Hey some of the skill levels may be better this season, but the passion and gutsy never say die spirit, that these players used to play with, against the odds and richer more " Proffessional " players, will never be forgotton by me.

To me they did themselves proud against the odds, and that, to me, is what Newtown is all about. A never give in or say die attitude, that even increases beyond that 100 percent when trailing behind.

As long as LOMU gives it all, he will always be welcome in the Royal Blue.

Jets to beat Canberra on Sunday. Whos making the effort to come and cheer the boys on ??????

PUMP UP JETS FANS.....And show your support.

Well I am glad Lomu is doing well.
Got to say, when he has played for us, no ticker.

Maybe the Jets can inspire him to come through and play with some passion.

I had hopes for him, I like a guy with a good offload.

Tell you what, can't see the Jets losing whilst that pack is together. It's Huge!!!

No probs angry. Canberra played well. We were a bit unlucky and should have made more of several opportunities, whereas some of their tries were quite soft.

They got the 2 points, however thought the boys played well in first half. Canberra lifted in the second half and they deserved the 2 points.

10/10 at half time. Was try for try most of the game and a real arm wrestle. Jets just made more errors in the end. We will beat them next time ...
