Yes and no.

Konstas had a great 1st shield game where he scored 2 hundreds which got his name into the ring but McSweeney always had the lead with experience and more exposed form.

Konstas is far from ready, mind boggling a kid basically played FA first class cricket and people want him to open in test cricket. This ton he scored tonight isnt a sanctioned international, lot of lax rules, India missing Bumrah, zero pressure.

What should have happened , Smith should have stayed at opener and McSweeney at 4, where he has played most of his career. Inglis is part of the test squad, and could play as a batsman in the middle order
