perhaps you not aware that our Premier League team came 1st, Flegg team came 3rd, and i think our SG ball team came 1st or close to, on top of that our team is full of youngsters...... no doubt we have a ton of talent.... melbourne have now got Bellamy at the helm and form what ive seen he has an eye for young talent, no doubt he will continue bring in the best talent from the QLD cup

Look at what happened to Parramatta after 2001. They had impressive resources in a brilliant talent scout, a sizeable junior catchment and powerful teams below first grade. Now they're ninth on the table and half of their juniors have gone off to other teams without having ever played first grade for them.
Penrith has a Gigantic Junior Catchment, a Bottomless pit of Cash and have bought out Sh*tloads of Country League clubs. They, unlike other clubs can afford to lose an entire premier league backline, because the resources they have can replenish them within 1-2 years.

The odds are, if your junior tams are so brilliant, half of them who are first grade potential won't play more than half a season of first grade for you before they are snapped up.
