Well after what I went through, you can't blame me for hating them.
Most people who know me know I am a keen cyclist, and yeasterday I was 47km into a 100km plus training ride (Saturdays are my long days), when some knob in a SUV comes around the roundabout which I was on, cuts me off, and giving me no chance to miss him, and crash straight into the side of him, giving me mild concussion and practiically cracking off the right hand bottom part of my helmet in which I landed in a large patch of grass.
Credit to the guy for stopping and calling an ambulance for me, but I did not appreciate being cut off that way. Even today my memory is a bit hazy of the whole event.
All I suffered was large scraps of skin taken off my right knee, hip, elbow and, and shoulder (shows you were I got hit), and my riding jersey got a bit ripped, but the helmet is gone and I have to buy a new one.
So I guess the important lession is, always wear your helmet or I may not have been here to post this thread (ie dead).
