With so many young forwards, consistency is always going to be an issue.

Also, at some stage newer blood especially in the backs needs to be introduced. Fortunately we have players in the U20s who are good.

Finally, the pattern of sack the coach etc etc is continually repeated after a loss.

The young forwards aren't the problem, the experienced ones are. Fulton and Heighington in particular were pathetic, especially Fulton.

BMM and Fifita in limited game time played pretty well I thought. At the very least they run onto the ball at pace, something not many of our other forwards do.

People talk about the backs, but unless the forwards do their job that is irrelevant. We were bashed and belted by a near reserved grade Souths pack. That is embarrassing and not good enough.

Then again, this isn't a one-off, it happens every year. But the same names will be rolled out by Sheens on Tuesday afternoon as they know no matter how poorly they perform, they will be there next week.

Agreed heighington , fulton and galloway are are just pathetic at the moment no penetration at all especially galloway there is just no venom at all.Just imagine if there was no Fifita,Dwyer or BMM it would have been a massacre .
Our oldre forwards better pull their fingers out and start leading the way for our younger forwards..

Farah-always trying never gives up but with Benji has to take some responsibility for the way we played

BMM - looking better with every match

Fifita - See above

Dwyer -very strong attack and defence

heighington - stands to flat in attack also gives to many dumb penalties

Fulton - drops off to many tackles ,runs accross field to much ,dumb penalties again

Galloway - Gentle giant ,something we do not need from a prop.Very Weak ( pound for pound the weakest forward in the comp)

Woods - has more fire than Girllaway but just a bit slow around the ruck in defence was targetted Saturday night .Still getting used to NRL speed around ruck

Schirnak - Did help plug gaps in defence around ruck but not much in attack. needs more game time

CAN WE PLEASE GET DEEPER IN HIT UP'S FORWARDS
HIT THE LINE AT SPEED AND SHOW SOME AGRESSION
IT SHOULD NOT MATTER WHAT SKILL FACTOR YOU HAVE. A FASTER MOVING TARGET IS ALWAYS GOING TO BE HARDER THAN SOMEONE WHO TRUNDLES UP TO THE DEFENCE LINE.

MAYBE THEN OUR PLAYMAKERS AND BACKS WILL HAVE SOME SORT OF PLATFORM TO WORK OFF.

I CANT REALLY SAY ANYTHING ABOUT OUR BACKLINE. IF THEY HAD THE GO FORWARD THEIR SOUTHS COUNTERPARTS HAD, I WOULD SAY WE WOULD OF HAD AN EVEN BETTER SCORLINE THAN THE BUNNIES.

IT ALL BEGINS WITH THE FORWARDS AND SOME OF THEM ARE JUST NOT GOOD OR TOUGH ENOUGH AT THE MOMENT..

YES, I have been saying this for some time,

one prop who isn`t as conistently good as he should be, but still deserved to be selected for NSW
I went through the team and squad and still can't see who you are talking about, it can't be Galloway, can it.

I had a great laugh yesterday when Galloway was in some journo's SOO squad. The guy reminds me of Siro in his early days, I think we need to pay the opposition to smack him in the mouth to get him stirred up perhaps. :D

Our forwards don't stand deep because they are pivotol to creating our second phase play, which is the only offensive structure we have that is reliable.

Back rowers running straight lines and inside angles off short flat passes.

Its devastating to the opposition when it works.
Its devastating to us when it doesn't.

Sadly, our centres are also privvy to this, moreso now than ever before.

Watch games from the last month and just see how often we f**k up a play because Benji is running sideways looking for someone running on an angle, only to find 3-4 blokes outside him all flat footed and almost in a straight flat line with no depth.

This simple problem has been hurting our attack more than anything else, because its easy to read and defend against and it isolates Benji.

Get your point but sometimes I wish we would tone it down and just simplify it with some hard straight running from our forwards especially coming out from our own half

That we do not play conservatively enough and we can't grind games out . Look at last year We may not have been pretty from Souths game onwards but we reasonably consistant . And thats what wins football game Consistancy
