They should Knight the guy who came up with it :D

At 80 min I would have gladly taken the one point but to win in the first set after the kick-off was magic. Especially at the venue of last seasons debacle.

:) :) :) :)

It's a good way to get back at parra :D

I love golden point, a draw would of been meh but now the boys are even closer as a unit and family. I can't wait for the dragons game

I hate it. Happy with the result, of course, but not too happy about the state of my nerves... :D

I know how you feel - I could hardly grip the steering wheel my hands were shaking so bad.

At least they got it over with quickly without trading field goals attempts. THAT would have killd me. :)

Yep definetly pay back time for the eels, all that crowing over a 70 point hiding counts for nothing this year and I can't wait to hear from them crying in their beers

You guys weren't the only ones. I don't want to go through that again in a hurry!

I love it. Never been at the ground for one before and tonight was special. The foul mouthed schreeching bohemith of a woman sitting behind me was duely silenced.

Wish I coulda seen it. I might have to think about getting Austar... Although I'd probably be in hospital now if I had watched it! :D

He wasn't silenced on 2GB. He crapped on about Parra being the better side for 5 minutes and that Veaeliki was out of the line for that last play.

I was pretty nervous even before the game kicked off.
What a nail biter!
I'm glad the golden point rule was in place. A win is so much sweeter than a draw, especially as it was against parramatta.

And it is good to see that last years corresponding game didn't have any lasting effects on the boys

That guys a sore loser... If Parramatta were the better team than a lesser team beat them.
Suck eggs Brian :D :D

what did he expect the ref to do, call time-out mid play because a player got a cramp or whatever ? never happened, never will, never should. that's part of the game.

i don't know about golden point though... murdre on the nerves and we'd be pretty cut if we lost

I also don;t like the golden point rule.
At the end of the year, those 1 point differences are handy for jumping over teams into higher positions on the table.

I hope you are joking bubs. Why would anyone want to give away a point just so they can be offset from other teams. Instead of jumping them they could be 2 in front of them.

What about all the people who ring up talkback and say that a conversion attempt should be taken after a golden try?

Why would you even say anything so stupid?

It would help our for and against I guess. Otherwise why bother? The game is over :?
