That every time a player who isn't the captain harasses the ref it's an instant ten in the bin! I look forward to watching 6 on 6 next game.

Roosters' supporters should realise the 'feel good for Newcastle' period is not over . . . refs can't be expected to please everyone

If the OP wasn't being such a whinging bitch about it I would actually like to hear people's opinions on whether or not simply using a curse word while talking to the ref should be a sin bin.

I think it should, however we all know that it never is. thurston in particular swears like a sailor at refs every game and never gets pinged. Ennis was swearing at a ref constantly a few weeks back and got nothing as well.

Odd that Badger picked last night to suddenly become offended by the F word

Myles was binned against the Dragons. He was talking to the ref as captain in a break in play.
Badger was involved in that game but I think it was the other ref who binned him.
I hope they keep binning players who swear at the ref, however I think it may be a flash in the pan crackdown.

It should be and good on the Badge for having the balls to do it. Shit for Roosters fans because it happens weekly. I think it was Ennis last week that dropped the f bomb twice in one sentence and the ref just answered him normally.

Although going by Badger's reaction, I don't think JWH just simply questioned him with a swear word dropped in.

as long as its consistent then it's fine

Binning for backchat is discretionary and there are all sorts of variables involved. When you address the ref in a contrary way, you ride your luck. Sometimes you win. Sometimes you lose.

I do think a big part of the binning was that it was JWH though

He said "that was a f***ing forward pass"

Badger sounded horrified like he said he'd kill his mother.
