I use to be a Brian Smith fan, but now i can not tolerate this rubbish.

My argument is who is responsible for decapitating one of the finest NRL teams of all teams to utter rubbish in the space of 2 years..the person who is in charge of recruitment & selection.

The salary cap argument doesn't hold much merrit.

It won't be long until the Smith groupies arrive from being back stage.

But facing the cold hard truth, right now Parramatta would struggle to beat NZ, even during the dark days of the late 80's & early 90's for the most part Parramatta would get beaten but at least the players put in.
Seem to be some high class Prima Donas(sp?) running around at the moment, If it is there way of telling BS he has lost there respect, then they need to f$%^ off and make way for someone who is willing to at least put in some effort and do the basics like going forward, not making stupid mistakes like kicking over the deadball line, these annoying kicks for kick offs that can't even go 10m. You can see better any weekend in your local grade comp.

The main criticism I have of Smith at the moment is he doesn't seem to realise there is a problem. Everything for him seems to be fine and a few tinkers here and there will turn everything around. The problem Smith, if he can't see it, is that you've turned what should be our greatest ever era, and side into a bunch of struggling football players. From where we were 3 years to into this is completely unacceptable. We only have held onto 6 players from 2001. Salary cap restrictions meaning we can only retain 6 players, that's a joke Brian. I totally agree with Ron here. Something needs to be done, the sad fact is it won't be years.

I don't know what the answer is - I am not in on what REALLY goes on day to day in the club and I don't pretend I do know.

All I know is something has to change....Melbourne played well today, but we seemed to have nothing in that second half....I reckon Clarke and his useless partners screwed us over in the first half big time, but we were in touch and could have come back....the second half was just shattering - no excuses - I can't really put my finger on any particular thing - we just seemed to have nothing.

sadly, it would appear that the game has passed by smith.

he appears out of touch, his ideas are not working and have not worked for a while. this then translates to the players.

it is a shame to see a coach who did have the foresight and vision to rebuild this club is also behind the disintegration of it. some hard decisions need to be made and for the good of this club they need to be made as soon as possible.
