I would rather certain people come out and say, 'I have a distinct hatred for the Melbourne Storm"

I don't love the Storm but I do marvel at how good Cam is and how he seems to always be able to manipulate the ref and the situation for his teams benefit.

I don't hate the Storm. They have had more sustained success over the last 20 years than any other club. Irrespective of the salary cap sanctions.

I don't hate Cameron Smith either. Whatever he does on the field in dealing with the referees is annoying when I'm an opposition fan, but I actually admire him for it. I'd love it if the captain of my team did the same with the same effect, and we had the sustained success of the Storm. The only thing I wouldn't have is the salary cap rorts.

The NRL is far better off with the Storm in it. I absolutely respect the club. And at the very least, it gives other fans a target of their hatred, formerly the crown held by the Broncos, then Manly.

All fair points.

What are your thoughts of this particular purple quince-tickler having a little cry about other RL “people” being mean to the poor widdle Storms?

Not particularly endearing, especially considering all your previous points and their continued success.

Sounds like he wants to have his cake and to eat it too, but with some extra tear-flavoured icing.

Wankers.

They are freaking precious , what shit do they actually cop
Sydney players and clubs (broncos add to these days ) cop it significantly more than them and they cry like little betches

does cam smith have media daily smashing him like Latrell Mitchell had all summer , do they get the club in crisis shit that other clubs get , do they get talk about them relocating , do they get the sombrero comments like the roosters .

do they embrace the hatred like manly did ?

If they cry like this whilst successful , I hate them to be a poor performing club, they will pack there bags and close up shop

I’d love to see how precious they would get if the 2007 and 2009 premierships were awarded to Manly and Parra respectively. Cam still reckons they should be given back and he’s probably angling for an NRL gig so he can return them and get Barb another diamond ring.

If Manly and Parra received the premierships that would shut him up for good.

On another note how good was 40-0?

He would have been better off building on the fact Melbourne are pretty good at adapting to whatever is thrown at them, and as such have remained competitive despite rule changes, and star players leaving or retiring. Just comes across as conceited.

This. He could have easily taken the high road but did this instead:

The 40-blot on a cap cheating team was something else.

Didn’t that human turd covered in hair, Cammy, have to sit that one out? Weren’t the nasty NRL people picking on him again? All he was trying to do was twist Thaiday’s head off his neck in front of a stadium full of people with functioning eye-balls.

Why can’t the rugby league loving public just get amnesia and forget the long list of the Storm’s past discretions and give their News Corp nut bag a long, lusty tongue-bath already?!

I mean, geeeze!!

Nothing will ever beat 80 thousand people booing Cam Smith when his head showed up on the big screen in the 2008 GF.

In a day of highlights, that moment was glorious.

40-nil bitches.

Honestly for me it was the moment Izzy came up at the end of the game crying.

This poor 19 year old kid, who had given his all in his last game amongst his mates a wreck.

Boooooooo!!!!!!!
