really not understanding the jizzfest over this goal. He fluked a bicycle kick into an empty net.

Basically any goal scored that actually involved putting the ball past a keeper is a better effort.

It's pretty outstanding, the audacity to try that, how far he was off the ground and to absolutly nail it. Great goal

Agree with this 100%.

The improvisation involved was the only great thing about it but otherwise everything else was ho-hum by any world-class players standards

If you're going to call Ibra's a fluke then by that same standard wouldn't half the 'great' goals scored today be considered fluke's as well?

It is an amazing goal, simple as that. It is like saying Kyle Walker's free kick against Blackburn was a fluke because he hasn't done it again.

Mexes' effort in Brussels overnight was better. Ibra's was football's version of a 'hail Mary', a complete fluke.
