meet either Souths, Wests or Parra in the 1 v 8 finals clash, should they take their 'home' final to a bigger venue ie. SFS or ANZ?

Surely Kogarah or WIN Stadium would be too small to house such clashes.

Its our home final, bad luck IMO.

If there was a guaranteed crowd of 30k plus, the only venue we should consider is the SFS.

I doubt they would want to move it from Kogarah, seeing as though they are in the process of trying to get Win Stadium recognised as a regional ground in the case they have to play in finals week 2 ...

there could be some real blockbusters in finals week 1 tbh. If the Dogs can finish 2nd we might well play one of those teams as well, at ANZ stadium. Now that should easily pull in 40k you would have to assume. Also if Brisbane get some form back they may well end up playing the Titans in a QLD derby. Would be great to see if a few results go the NRL's way.

Here is one from left of centre, what about a double header at ANZ week 1 of the finals, surely it would go close to selling out.

Fans may get to see Brisbane & NQ punted from the finals if they can scrape into 8th & 7th spot respectively.

I wonder how many a Dragons v Souths semi in week 1 would attract if played at the SFS. On a nice fine Sunday arvo. I'd be there with bells on.

Capacity...something like 42500...i would expect it to be sold out.

Souths fighting to keep their season alive against the Dragons looking for a easy path into the prelims.

40k plus for sure at the SFS. I can only dream...

Dragons will need every advantage they can get to help get over their psycology of September failure so I can see why their fans have the attitude they have, even if it's at the detriment of worthy crowds.

Why should they move it? They've been the best team in the comp for the whole year - they deserve to have a home ground advantage whether it's WIN Wollongong or WIN Jubilee IMO.

A double header on the Saturday night would be an awesome fixture, The dogs finishing second and Dragons finishing first. Both home game advantages.

Against whoever it is they verse

But the NRL wont change it cause 1 v 8 is usually sunday arvo game, their to dumb to change it try and get a sellout capacity double header

The same can be said for each of the following teams who have contested the finals in the past 6 years but failed to win the premiership -
Roosters, Sharks, Warriors, Canberra, Newcastle, Parramatta, Cowboys, Souths. Your comments show either ignorance or a moronic rationale.

How is us playing at ANZ with a crowd of 80,000, in a double header where all fans will have an equal chance of buying tickets due to the size of the venue a "home ground advantage" ?

The event would be massive, but it wouldn't give us an advantage playing on foreign turf without a crowd bias.
