Ive been playing drums by ear for about a yr and a half and only started reading tabs and ive been playing guitar for about 9 years

I play guitar and don't go out of way to learn a cover unless I really have to.when I do I use guitar tab pro it makes it fast and easy to learn some of the more complicated licks and riffs.At the moment I'm using a Gibson 67v I bought of a bloke who got it from the Nashville factory in the states.Also have a les Paul flame top and ibanez rx70 I use for slide and abuse.

Just learning the basic chords G,C and Dsus4.

Play songs you want to play..... I was getting lesson from a teacher, and he was teaching me songs, and sure I liked them but I didn't love them. But now I have a new teacher and we have the same taste in music, and I have made more progress, because I am more interested in playing and practicing.

Just bought an effects machine and I love it and my first electric guitar. I'm learning House of the Rising Sun, U2, Wanted Dead or Alive and heaps more blues. Prefer lead to rythmn and I think I finally found my niche.
