If your team folded today...

So, if you woke up this morning and discovered that your NFL team had gone under, would you still follow the NFL, and if you did would you follow another team or just the sport?

Similarly, would you do the same for the NRL?

Still follow NFL. I watch a lot of independent games as it is.

NRL I can't say but I doubt it at least for a few years. The merge was enough for one lifetime

I would be done with the NRL, I don't watch games that don't involve Manly as it is.

I would still watch the NFL, wouldn't pick another team, just follow certain players closely.

I'd definitely still follow the NFL, it's not like I've been a lifelong Falcons fan, and I was following the game for a few years before that anyway.

Basically a lifelong Bulldogs fan, so can't say I'd follow the NRL with any real interest without them.

I got gamepass all access for a reason. Would most likely follow the raiders though as thats my old mans team.

NFL, If they moved the franchise, I'd say I'd still support it wherever it went. If the team went under, I would probably pick a new team. Let's hope that never happens.

NRL, I'd keep a slight interest, but I don't think I would care about it as much without the Raiders in it. They're pretty much the only game I watch a week, with maybe a brief look at the other games.

For me, if Dallas went under i'd probably follow the sport for a few years and then find a new team to call my own.

In the NRL, i don't know that I could find another club if the Roosters left the game. I've supported them since the day I could walk, I'd say I supported the Roosters before I support the NRL.

Id still follow the NFL very closely, probably end up finding another team to sort of go for, but not like the Eagles, but the game itself would still hold my interest, id still buy a game pass and watch every game i could... probably wind up being a Rams or Indy fan.

If the raiders went under in the NRL, passing interest at best

Pretty much same here don't watch any NRL that doesn't involve the Broncos. But if the Ravens went under I could see my self watching a few games.

Would become a Packers fan if anything happened to Philly. Rodgers is my favourite non Eagle.

I'm hardly wedded to the Ravens. I've watched NFL for years without really supporting any one team.

If the Eels disappear from the NRL can't say that I would be too interested at all. My interest is only just above casual as it is. If the Eels stop playing home games at Parramatta that would just about do it for me, let alone disappearing or merging.

Had only cursory interest in S15 rugby over the last couple of seasons, although I follow test matches without fail.

Yet I look forward to the NFL season each year.

I would still watch the NFL. Just wouldn't have a team to follow.

As for the NRL well I have already been through that with Souths. When they were out of the competition for two years I still watched the NRL. But it just didn't seem the same.

I think I'd lose interest in the NRL. I'd still bet on matches and watch it with a passing interest - but the rubbish that has gone on with the Raiders this season has almost been enough to make me lose interest as it is. It's sad to say they are almost already dead to me.

As for the NFL, I don't know why but I like it more and more each year. I don't even really care about the Vikings, if they went under it wouldn't impact me at all.

I would watch the odd match of nrl, but wouldn't follow it as closely.

As for the nfl, I had lots of practice following other teams during the 90's when the bengals sucked. Generally I just followed players I liked.

Would definitely still watch. Would casually follow the Bills until an exapansion team came in or if a team relocated then I would go for that team. Especially if it moved to Canada!

As for NRL, no way would I still watch it. I pretty much can't stand Rugby League these days but my heart will always be with the Broncos so I still have interest in it through them.

If Parra folded i wouldn't watch another game of league, not out of spite but more that i love the club more so then the game.

If Buffalo folded I would be devo as i have supported them since i started watching NFL in 94, however i would still watch it as much as i do now and would choose another side - probably 49ers, Vikings or even possibly Rams, dunno

I have been saying for a while that the Bills should become the Toronto Bills - massive market. Not that Buffalo has a small fan base - it is huge, however i think a side has to move there ventually and Buffalo is right next to the border.

even though I would love to see a team in Canada, I don't want to see the Bills leave Buffalo. The people of Buffalo deserve at least one superbowl win one day
