Impact on crowds due to postponement of Trans Tasman Test

With the Test match not being played tonight (a tough but correct decision IMO) I wonder if the proposed rescheduling to Sunday 4pm will impact on the crowds for this game and the triple header down the coast ?

Had heard stories of people having to make the choice of which event to attend - and this still may be the case - but having the Test a day game on Sunday may be a benefit for some ..and probably a liability for others.

As a sideline the Qld v NSW Residents game is currently scheduled for 1.45pm Sunday here in Bne and was also expecting a big crowd and TV audience in both states. Especially as the only other game on offer was the City v Country game which traditionally does not attract a Qld audience.

PS. For those not in SE QLD - it has been hammering down and thunder and lightning also evident up to 6pm. Public transport also in chaos which would major impact on accessing the game.

Just took me 6 hours to travel 50km so correct decision was made as I and many others and there were many wouldn't even been able to watch it on TV.

Crowd wise should be a positive than what could of been had tonight.

The crowd will definitely be better than if it went ahead last night. I knew many who weren't attending because of the conditions. The new time is a lot more family friendly as well so may pick up a few extras.
