2007 MANLY FORUM INITIATIVES.
Only very early stages of development at the moment, but basically by Round 1, 2007, the Manly moderators plan to implement a series of new features in the League Unlimited Manly forum.
We as moderators, clearly understand the enormity of these actions, but believe that you, as members, deserve these features. We will be maintaining daily articles and other important publications about our NRL team on a regular basis, and anything else Manly related will be regularly posted in the Manly forum.
INITIATIVE #1.
The first new initiative we plan to create is a Harold Matthews and SG Ball CUPS section that'll contain comprehensive information including:
- Harold Matthews and SG Ball Draws upon production (TBA)
- Weekly updates regarding game fixtures etc etc
- Harold Matthews and SG Ball squads when announced by MANLY (TBA)
- Weekly Team Sheets and Results (TBA)
- And finally all the latest information required about the Under 16's team (Harold Matts) and the Under 18's team (SG Ball) as they progress through Season 2007.
- LADDERS weekly etc etc
The second initiative that will be introduced in 2007 is a Jersey Flegg specific section with:
- Live Updates for ALL 24 rounds + finals matches should they progress
- DRAWS including Manly specific fixtures
- Weekly Team sheets on Tuesday Nights
- Results / Match Reports
- LADDERS etc
The third initiative we are currently considering is a Premier League specific section similar to the HM/SG Ball and Jersey Flegg.
Similarly to the Jersey Flegg section, members will be provided with:
- LIVE UPDATES with all 24 games in 2007 + Finals matches should the team progress!!
- Premier League Draws inc Times of Matches / Fixtures etc
- Premier League Ladders following the completion of each round
- Premier League results as they occur
- And a variety of other features currently being considered by site Admin.
The fourth new initiative we intend to bring in is the....
2007 Manly Sea Eagles Forum Player of the Year Competition.
Now, basically, how this works is, each player will be up for nominations at the conclusion of each game, until 11PM WEDNESDAY preceding game day. A poll will be created minutes after the game with a list of ALL 17 players that participated. During this time period, we hope to get members voting for who they believe should be awarded the 3,2,1 pts for each week. The player with the three highest total of votes will be awarded 3,2 and 1 point respectively. Each week's points will be accumulated towards a grand total which at the end of the season (when Manly gets knocked out / wins the comp) will crown the 2007 Manly Sea Eagles Forum Player of the Year! These initiatives are only the beginning, there WILL be more to come! I'm on holidays for the next 6 weeks, so hopefully by the end of that, all these above features will be added and ready rearing to go in 2007!
