Here is the message I just sent out to everyone in our Facebook group:

Hail Blue and Gold Soldiers!

As I mentioned in my earlier message, I have been liaising with the NRL today in regards to having a Bay assigned to us on Friday.

Well, good news - we have one. The NRL have worked with ANZ Stadium to give us Bay 146-1. How good is that!

However, there are VERY important things that you need to keep in mind:

* This bay will NOT be on sale tomorrow. It has been QUARANTINED specifically for our use and will be available to us - and ONLY us - on TUESDAY.

Here's the deal - I only called the NRL today to start this whole bay thing. As it turns out, it is not something that you can take care of in 5 minutes.

I've been speaking to the NRL all day. I've just received a call from ANZ Stadium. Throughout tomorrow I will continue to liaise with them and on Tuesday:

* We will have a special phone number to call Ticketek on. It will not take us to their General Enquiries but straight to the Groups section of Ticketek which is designed to work with collectives such as the B&G Army. We will have a direct line to Ticketek so we can be specially dealt with due to our position as being better than everyone else.

* The online purchasing will become available. They need to withdraw Bay 146-1 from the Category 3 section and give it a section of it's own. This will take a bit of time and can't be finished tonight and this is why they will quarantine the Bay and set it up during the day tomorrow.

So, everyone, DO NOT purchase tickets tomorrow if you want to sit with the Blue and Gold Army and go crazy with banners, flags and song.

I know this will make people nervous - it's making me nervous - but you're just gonna have to trust me. We've had an entire bay - hundreds of tickets - quarantined specifically for us. They CANNOT be sold to the general public. They CANNOT go before I send the information out to everyone. We WILL have hundreds of tickets waiting for us on Tuesday and only WE will be able to buy them.

Even better, ANZ Stadium are looking to work with us in this fashion throughout the future. We will be able to quarantine bays for Eels games at ANZ for next year and beyond. This is an AWESOME deal that will be great for us as we go forward.

Feel free to message me if you need reassurance. As soon as I have the special phone number I will get it out to everyone.

So, yes, there has been a change from 144-1 to 146-1.

This is because 144-1 has 800 tickets and they did not want to quarantine that many on our first attempt at this. 146-1 has about 400 and they were fine with quarantining that many for us.

Remember - this bay has been QUARANTINED specifically for us. General public CANNOT buy these tickets. NO ONE will be able to buy these tickets until I distribute the special phone number, which I will do tomorrow.

Chill out. It might make you nervous but I swear it's all been taken care of. I know a lot of people think I'm a wanker - and I am - but I just want you all to trust me on this one.

unfortunately i won't be there with u all - going with my dogs supporter bro inlaw (he switched back to dogs beginning of this year after being a child fan then hating them for a while cos of all their sh*t)

Thought this line was meant to read "due to MY position as being better than everyone else..." ;)

OK, we will be able to buy them once they supply me with the special information tomorrow. Will most likely be a phone number. You won't need to be a STH or member or whatever - you'll just need this special number.

It will not be GA. It will be allocated seating. However, since this bay will be reserved especially for us then the only people there will be, funnily enough, us and so moving around and sitting wherever the hell you want in that bay will be no problem. Essentially it will be treated as GA because that's how we'll treat it.

Great stuff :D
Holic, eelz47, Niks and PJ will go down for us on Tuesday morning.
So far we are getting like 27 tickets so that should boost the bay a little :D :D
