Even though big Zorba Peters turns me off Manly I was so impressed by the team's performance against Brisbane. This team is very well coached. Manly has the best halves in the comp. I would like to see Manly and the Steelers/Dragons play in the GF this year.

Will Hopoate looks every bit a NSW player. It's a shame he going off the Iran to convert them to the superstious rubbish he has been brain washed into beliving.

Before the season startyed a mate of mine had Manly picked for the spoon countering our halves were simply the worst in the competition. I recall one of the papers reporting that our halves would seriously struggle against other pairings and most experts had us no where.

Manly under Des Hasler have become staunch. Not only can he build a team from the smouldering embers of the Northern Eagles, but he has also shown that rare ability to reinvent a team in key positions... Ballin for Monaghan, Evans for Hodkinson for Orford, K Foran into a ball playing five eighth.

Des is the key, he is very special and has been the leading hand that has made playing against Manly a battle.

Had I fellow worker, who supports Manly say the same, these people are not true believers.

We basically made the finals last year on the back of playing a great first have, with nothing in the second. He knew the issue anf Foran has really stepped up in directing the team. We look strong for about 5 years.
