oh and australia only beat NZ by about 80 runs with their second string side which, in my opinion, is just as humiliating as a loss. Times are tough.

Every dog. fox or bengal tiger has its day. Trouble for your teams B is that those days dont happen very often. Enjoy them while you can B!

Now while Derby may be languishing in Division 1 and Leicester may be on one of its occasional forays in the Premier League, lets just take a step back for one moment. B_Tiger, I know you understand the importance of the history and the achievements of your teams - as a Balmain Tigers supporter that goes without saying. Leicester joined the English Football League in 1894-95 and have never won the title. Derby joined in 1888-89 and won the title in 1971-72 and 1974-75. I rest my case.

yes, some very true and painful observations there bald. One thing I'm certain of, neither of our premier league teams will ever win again (or for the first time). I suppose your little historical lesson forgot to mention 1994. Yes, that year still burns doesn't it??? Leicester promoted to Premier league by beating derby 2-1. That's tough, must hurt. It has been 9 years though, its time to stop being bitter. As division one seems like too much work maybe derby will be more succesful in division two next year. Derby would know all about that competition anyway, having been there on numerous occasions. Not too much pride in the park these days. Also, as both our clubs have spent a number of years in division one it is worthwhile to not leicester has 6 championships while derby only have managed 4 (and aren't going to add another one this year).

All too true B_Fox.
The days of Brian Clough managing the Rams and playing at the Baseball Ground are sadly long gone. The poor seats, hopeless toilets, no parking - reminds me of ... cant beat it. Nothing like re-living the past.
