Inglis, in full stride, is a huge drawcard

Watching the news clips from the weekend's action, there is highlight in particular that has stuck in my mind.

If I was a "neutral" or casual sports fan, watching Greg Inglis in full stride (scoring the try from the scrum), I would have to sit back in awe of how graceful, yet immensely powerful the man looks.

If he keeps getting vision like that on TV replays into people's homes he will get plenty of bums on seats. People will want to go to the game just for a chance to see Inglis in full stride.

I just hope that his career is one full of opportunity at both club and representative level. It would be a shame to see such an incredible athlete shut down from injury, playing in a poor side that threw big cash at him, or lost to another code.

If either of the latter two occurs because of the salary cap, there will be few better examples of how a salary cap can affect rugby league in a negative way.

I love watching him play. Honestly as good as Joey and Locky are, Ingliss has the potential to be better than both of them! He can play from 1-7 and even in the backrow I bet! The guy is a freak!

Love the bloke. Stoked that he's with us till 2009 and is on the verge of extending that by a year!

He's phenomenal, I've often thought the same thing. Just watching the bloke run is entertaining. The most graceful and balanced runner of the footy I think I've ever seen.

The footrace between him & Amos Roberts this year was one of the best i've ever seen. What surprised me most though was that Amos, initially about 10 metres behind Inglis, caught up to him 10 metres from the tryline, & managed to get a hold of him, unfortunately Inglis had too much strength & got to the line. But as the commentators said, to see two of the NRL's true speedsters in full flight, was truly something to behold.
