He was sh*t tonight. Folau had a dig. Slater had a dig. Cronk even. Inglis? MIA.

He is only good if someone puts him into space. Owned by Lion. He is crap.

Hopefully he moves to centre to take Folau's spot. That's where we will see the best of him.

No matter how good an individual is, it's still a team sport. Judging him on tonight is silly. Time will tell if he's the real deal.

Actually he's been doing this alot this year. One week he's too good and hard to deal with, the next he's below par and playing rubbish. He's not consistant enough.

He's not a five-eighth I'm afraid.

His best position is in the centres where he can still set-up his winger. In any case, he gets much more space to do something with the footy. All he is doing at the moment is passing or running into heavy traffic

As I've said a thousand times before, he could be the best centre in the world, or the most overated stand off. Bellamy's choice!

I agree he is overrated. At least in the massively over the top glowing terms he is presented in by certain commentators who break out tissues on the mention of his name.

He is a good player, playing way out of position. Ive seen many better, more consistent players than greg inglies. Gasnier for instance, is a far better player imo.

just confirms what a farce his dally M 5/8 of the year award was .

terry campese was clearly the best 5/8 this season .

Inglis is as much a waste of talent at 5/8 as gasnier was .

It shows how much harder it is to make yards and breaks in the middle of the field when you've got 3 forwards coming at you. It's much easier to beat someone one on one out wide with a bit of space with time to get a run up.

Inglis went into the game with busted knees and clearly he wasn't right out there. But there is no taking away from the fact that he was completely MIA.

Signed his mega contract after the usual bleatings about trying his luck in Union/overseas.

Doesn't have to put in on field now for a while... it's all about the cash and the bling for some guys these days.

Yeah, chalk me up as part of the group who thinks Inglis is a brilliant centre but only a fairly average five-eighth. I understand that lately the Storm have had more depth at centre than five-eighth so it's made sense to put him there, but I hope that he's back to centre next season. I just think he's more well suited to running out wide and coming in for the occasional touch rather than being expected to play in the halves.

People were more than happy to bag Orford last year, so I think its only fair that Inglis cops a bit for his performance. 1 good game in 5 does not the best player in the NRL make.
