While backrower Shane Rodney (knee) and Anthony Watmough (ankle) are in doubt to face the Roosters, Hasler revealed fullback options Will Hopoate, Ben Farrar and prop Josh Perry could all make a return.

I guess we will hear about Rodney today after he gets scans, I'm assuming he is gone for the season. Watmough always has problems, just about always plays though so I;m not too concerned, best thing for us would for him to be overlooked for the Four Nations so he can have a full off season.

Matt Cross has done nothing to make the coaching staff not think about rushing Perry back in if they can, he has been average.

Manly Warringah lose workhorse backrower Shane Rodney for remainder of the NRL season

Rodney injured his knee in the opening minutes of Saturday night's victory over the Warriors and the club has confirmed he injured his anterior cruciate ligament.
"Shane is gone for the season," coach Des Hasler said.
"That is a real shame, he's been one of our strongest and best performers this year."
The Sea Eagles have further injury concerns with backs Ben Farrar and Will Hopoate and star forward Anthony Watmough all facing fitness tests later in the week.
"It's just been one of those years, we've had injuries but we might get a few back," Hasler said.
"We'll look at Ben Farrar and Will Hopoate and the week after we might get a few more back."

So if Farrar and Hoppa are under review this week, Rodney, Stewart and Wolfman are gone for the year, who do we get back the following week? Choc? Perry?

Yet going into last weekend we had used the lowest number of players in first grade this year.

Its been a "funny" year in that it seems like we've been hammered but stats would indicate otherwise....

Rodney has a shocking injury history, was only a matter of time before his luck ran out again.

We were due for one.

Remember 2008? I think Beaver was our only real 'injured' player.
