Yeah. Lomu came back on in the 2nd. 1/2 with headgear on. That wouldn't have happened if he had a broken jaw. Unless the medics are mad.
The bloke that felled him with the head high should have been marched. Just another example of a team being seriously offended against but other teams (the teams Manly play in the next few weeks) getting the benefit.

It was actually Saleh who copped the high tackle from Watmough. Lomu's injury was from the accidental knee up on the Sharks tryline.

Lomu apparently busted a cheekbone. No suprise when you see the contact from that Manly blokes knee.

Sometimes you can keep going with a busted cheekbone, cos there's not more that can happen to it. But when it settles down and blows up like a balloon it's a different story. Plus it more than likely requires some type of surgery, which in turn needs time to heal.

Galloway into the starting line up, with a new big bopper on the bench. Oh, and Vagana in the number 6 until Birdy works out how to hold the ball!! Haha.

Lomu's heads not quite as tough as Civinoceva's then.

Watmough's tackle on Saleh was ugly. Cleal is a clumsy Ox, he could be in trouble for elbowing Birdy.
