Well over at the warriors we are pretty much screwed already by injury.

McKinnon, our most potent player in attack out for the season

Price our metre eater with a hamstring injury

Ropati one of our most reliable and effective outside backs is out again

and know big manu has a knee injury

Theyre pretty much 4 of our 5 best players, How are the injuries going in other clubs. Has any club been hit as hard as us?

Farah missed last 3 games, Marshall missed 6 games (including round 1), Harrison missed last two weeks and gone for the next few, Halatau missed a couple games, O'Hara still not played a game, Tuiaki missed opening few weeks, Head missed first couple games then came back through NSW Cup, Gibbs missed first 5 games.

They're all current or former rep players, so at 4 & 3 we're not doing too bad.

knights arn't travelling too bad this year (touching all sorts of wood at the moment). much, much better than the last few years anyway. we've had mullen and dureau out.. along with crossy for the first 4 or 5 rounds, but all in all our depth has covered our injuries very well this year. kudos brian smith.

I think every team has had it's share of injuries - it's just part of the game.

The Raiders have lost Phil Graham and William Zillman for the year, Neville Costigan is still yet to play a game (Graham and Costigan were our only 2 rep players coming into this season), Scott Logan and Tom Leahroyd-Lars have missed more games than they've played and we even lost Lincoln Withers and Alan Tongue last week.

The Broncos have Hunt, Marsh, Parker and now Michaels currently on the injured list. Hodges corked his shoulder on Friday night but should be right for the weekend.

They were hit pretty heavy last year with Lockyer, Hunt, Berrigan, Ennis, Tate and Carrol all out at one point in the season.

Manly have Menzies(hamstring, back round 11), Bryant(knee), Watmough(ankle, back round 9), King(ankle) and Brett Stewart(calf), Vaealiki(knee, indefinite) out well Brett and Jason have been ruled out of the City-Country game because of injury so I presume they're also out for Manly's round 9 clash.

These new interchange rules aren't helping the injury count as they were hoped, are they?

But then I don't think they're causing it either.

Panthers:
Trent Waterhouse - Injured in Round 4... due back round 9
Adam Woolnough - Injured in Round 4... due back Round 12
Shane Rodney - Injured in 2006... allegedly due back Round 12
Luke Lewis - Suffered a few injuries. Not sure what the latest is. But he was picked for City/Country.
Tim Grant - Pre-season injury... due back Round 12

When we lost Waterhouse and Woolnough, we lost a lot of size in our pack, and 2 very hard workers. If these guys are all ready by round 12... then we should really have a great pack and bench and hopefully be in the mix for the top 8.

^^ Too true. In 2005 the Tigers had a great run, I think Benji missed 1 game, Farah had a game or two in reserves, Prince played all year as did Hodgo (I think). When your 1, 6, 7 & 9 play the majority of the year (provided they aren't sh*thouse), you're going to be there or there abouts.

Conversely, look at the last two years for the Tigers, and whilst there have been other problems (team selections, tactics, recruitment amongst them), we certainly haven't had a good run with injuries.

don't forget Weyman being out for a brain snap
