Halfbacks like Robson and Perry have a place when playing alongside a 5/8 in red hot form.
Look at Peter Wallace, the bloke is very average whenever he doesn't have Lockyer next to him. But he does his job for the team.
The Chad needs a year or two in NSW cup. That is not the end of the world. Look at NFL in the States, rookies are normally 22 or 23 when they are drafter and spend the first year or two as back ups normally. They don't think a kids career is over because he doesnt crack it and become a star at 20.
In fact I wish we could send him up to the QLD cup for a year to learn his trade and develop as a better player.
U20's to playing against men is a massive step up. Anyone who has played in u18 or u19 comps and then made the step up to grade football would know how much harder and more physical men are compared to relative boys of the same age.
Back on topic, Tony Williams would not have me jumping for joy as the player to solve our centre issues. But would love to be completely wrong.
