The top 25 players next season at Parramatta will consist of 15 players who this year were members of our lower grade squads..... interesting acheivement and one worth noting for all the single year deals that were signed in 2003.

Thats a very encouraging statistic.

It says to me that thses kids are part of our plans for 2005.

At least they'll get a go, and the rest is up to them

not only that! the kids wouldn't be on a great deal which is the basic reason why the club went out and bought quality this time.

Haven't got the list no, its a bit hard to assume until they list something on the website which gives a rough idea at the least. Its very good indication of what the majority of the year was about, despite poor results. It gave some of these young blokes another year to mature rather than relying on them too early like has happened in the past.

I cant wait till thery name the trial squads. Its gonne be very intresting and some will be suprised. Iam hoping we start this season strongly with players played in the right positions.

If you don't know the sqaud then how do you know 15 of them having come through Parra's lower grades?

Sure, you can guess some like Hindmarsh, Cayless, Marsh, Grothe etc will be there but that wouldn't make 15 and there are some youngsters like Jack, Ben Smith, Tim Smith etc who could make it but are not assured of a spot?

Brian highlighted the fact in his speech regarding the acheivements of the lower grade players at the presentation night....... ;-)

Don't really think that Josh Davis can be counted as he never actually played for Parra spent all of last year in NZ.

also the likes of Hindmarsh, Cayless, Vella, Grothe, McKinnon, Burt and even Petersen may well be counted in amongst the 15 along with the returning Robinson & Marsh.

I'm kinda hoping that Weller makes it tho.
