Only a pre-season cup, but the potential matchups are interesting

Milan beat Valencia in game 1. Everton are leading Juventus in game 2 after 22 min

Chelsea take on Inter tomorrow morning. Winner plays Milan, loser plays Valencia

Then it's Real Madrid v LA Galaxy - the winner and loser play the respective winner and loser from game 2...

Why is it called the Champions Cup if only Juve and LA won their domestic leagues last season?

Since it is essentially the winners of irrelevant cups and Juventus surely even Arsenal could have been given an invitation given their success in the Emirates Cup over the years?

Milan got absolutely toweled this morning. Trailed 0-5 after 35 minutes

Everton managed to get over Juve yesterday on penalties

Chelsea v Inter kicks off at 10am, then Real Madrid v LA Galaxy at 12:30

Yep, the commentary on goal.com seemed to suggest that we were pretty dominant

The whole bench came on in the second half to close the game out. Looks like the days of 7-0 and 8-0 wins are over - José still seems to prefer consistent two-nils...

Everton are playing Madrid at the moment, for a spot in the final. Currently 1-0 down just before half time

Chelsea plays Milan tomorrow for the other spot

2-1 to Madrid in the end. Everton nearly equalised in the first half, but conceded soon after

LA Galaxy beat Juve 3-1 in today's other match

So tomorrow morning Valencia plays Inter. The winner plays LA Galaxy for fifth, loser plays Juventus for seventh

Then Chelsea plays Milan, with the loser playing Everton for third place and the winner playing Real Madrid for the cup...

Everton did pretty well considering the comparative strength of the teams. Hit the post, had a goal ruled out harshly and should have gotten a pen in the first half too IMO.

Was an entertaining match.

They've done very well, beating Juve and matching it with Real

Good start for Martinez...
