The pride in the jersey is still there for the Kiwis and that's great to see.

The beauty of that victory by the kiwis is that now AUS might show some spirit and actually take us seriously, bring intensity to their game and play with heart like the kiwi boys did.

This Test just had an ominous feeling about it. You just get the feeling that as the World Cup approches....the Kiwi's are coming after us.

Its great for Test footy.

It was a great weekend for international Rugby League.
Kiwis vs Kangaroos.
Cook Islands vs NZ Maori - this was a good game as well.
France vs Russia.
Soon to play Wales vs Scotland.

It's about time we had real International Rugby!!!!!

Lets all hope that this trend continues for a long time to come.

None of this Lollypop union international crap, which claims to be a truely global sport. Yeah Right.

Long Live International Rugby League. Great Stuff!

The New Zealand win last night will add a lot of legitimacy to the rest of this years tri-nations series.

Not for say people on this forum who see it as the beginning of a return to truly competitive international league, but to many of the nay sayers and doubters ready to kick league at any given opportunity.

The last tri-nations match took alot of steps forward for international league, but the final result and the failure of New Zealand to win a match meant that it did not have the impact it could have.

The fact that New Zealand were under strength, up against an Australian side with Andrew Johns and Darren Lockyer, two of the best players of the last ten years playing together in the halves, playing in Sydney makes it even more important.

I kept thinking while watching the match how good it will be for International League when Sonny Bill Williams and Benji Marshall are playing together for New Zealand. The potential there is limitless...
