Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere.

An incentitive for people to buy tickets to international matches in Australia could be that thos who buy a ticket to an international get first crack at the tickets for the SOO & Grand Final tickets the following year.

They go on sale 1st to those people
Then season ticket holders 3 days later
Then to everyone 3 days later again.

Play more test matches around Australia. A game in Adelaide, perth and Brisbane should sell out. Also this makes the Sydney games more of a spectacle as they are not played every year and thus the supporters are more encouraged to see the games as they might not see the next one for a couple of years.

and then when its time for the world cup

do what the yawnion did

and say that everyone who buys a ticket to the minnow tests gets a chanvce to buy a ticket to the final , etc etc
