Parramatta centre Krisnan Inu appears resigned to the fact he won't be at the NRL club next season.
Last week Eels boss Paul Osborne said all contract negotiations would be put on hold until the side produced good form on the field.
The Eels currently sit in equal last place on the NRL ladder with one win from five games.
Inu is one of several players, including Feleti Mateo, Eric Grothe and Kris Keating who are off contract at the end of the season although Keating is reportedly set to re-sign in the next couple of weeks.
The softly spoken Kiwi international said he had still not heard anything from the Eels but if he was not offered a contract he was content to move on.
"Whatever's done off the field then that's (what) happens," Inu said.
"Football's a business these days so whatever happens, happens."
The Warriors have publicly expressed their interest in Inu and have confirmed they have contacted his agent David Riolo.
Inu comes into the Eels starting side to face the Rabbitohs this weekend, with centre Joel Reddy suspended.
Facing their fourth consecutive loss, it would be easy to excuse Parramatta for being frustrated and down on morale.
Young playmaker Daniel Mortimer said he makes no secret that the past three losses have been frustrating but stresses it hasn't affected the team.
"After the game of course we're frustrated but then come Monday it's heads on for the next week," Mortimer said.
"We don't carry it through the week."
The 20-year-old said after playing some brilliant football last season, the side probably expected things to go easy for them this season.
"We got a bit of a shock the first couple of rounds and know now we have to really work for it," he said.
"Although that's not necessarily a bad position to be in."
