But whats almost better is seeing that after 13 rounds, The dragqueens ridiculous early season optimism, and talk of grand finals and maiden premierships was after all, quite misguided.

I was quite interested to see that in the "we are the benchmark" thread in the Illawarra - St George Steelers forum, they believe that they only lost 4 grandfinals in a row, because "the team in 99 was a different club"

They see St George and St George - Illawarra as entirely seperate entities when it comes to counting grand final losses.

So either, they havent won 15 premierships, or they have lost their last 5 grandfinals.

Personally, im happy to let them knock one off that tally, and say that theyve won no premierships, but at least their former club only lost 4 grand finals in a row.
