I think he needs to be disciplined for his appealing of LBWs. There is no way you should be able to charge down the wicket without giving the umpire the respect of turning around and appealing to him, especially when it was going down the leg side! Its more understandable when its caught behind or something, but its just not on for LBWs.

so by everyone else's reckoning and reasoning here, Dwayne Bravo must be a wanker for his carry on after his caught and bowled

No - it's the disrepectful "appealing" that's really the #1 bugbear for me...

I also find it puzzling that so many of you apparently knowledgable (I'll exclude El Diablo here, although I recall you struggling with the lbw law too twizzle :p - I guess you're both confused because of the many years of Australian umpires using the simple rule of "raise finger for visiting batsman, and never raise it for Australians) cricket fans rate him so highly - when for the most part all he does is bowl reasonably quickly on two lengths (too short, and too full)...

I reckon Fidel Edwards looks like a f**king idiot when he gets someone out, when he waves his hands. Worst send off ever.

I have divided the Aussie team up into Wankers and non wankers.

Wankers:

Hayden
Ponting
Clarke
Katich
Macgill
Martyn

Non-wankers

Warne
Lee
Mcgrath
Dizzy
Gilly
Langer
Hussey
Hodge

As a "non-Australian" I congratulate you!

I'd suggest Lee and Warne are wankers too, and McGrath is sometimes... I'm puzzled as to why Martyn is included with the wankers... Lehmann is another "non-wanker" for mine...

Lehmann is popular among the players, however his comments when Sri Lanka were out here a few years ago that resulted in a 5 match suspension would definately be considered wankerish.

Yeah Lehman is a definate non-wanker but due to him notbeing in the team for a long time I have left him out.

I put Martyn and Clarke in the wanker category, because they would not sign an autograph for me at the Allan Border Medal, while every other player would.

Warne is an absolute Legend. Makes time for the public, he brought me a beer a couple of years back at a Melbourne club and had a long yarn to me. helps people out in need and always has a great sense of humour.

Im impartial on Lee as he has not done anything yet IMO to justify him being a wanker

definitely a wankerish comment - but a one-off, as far as I know...

Warne's pattern of behaviour is well established

Maybe I went abit far with the goats comment.

But is anyone else sick of the constant crap he goes on with?

I mean ffs, he gets a tailender out and carries on like he is God.

The only reason he is in the test side is because we really have noone else other than McGrath at the moment.

Lee is not, and never will be anything special at all.

Your only as good as your last test and last series.

Given Brett Lee has finished this series as our leading wicket taker, taking more wickets than both mcgrath and warne, that would suggest he is in the side on merit.

Those of you saying that Brett Lee only bowls 2 lengths obviously missed most of his recent spells.

The guy is still bowling high 140's and his line n length has been great the last 2 tests.

And as previously stated he was the leading wicket taker in this series.
