With all the kerfuffle over the Scott signing Coach Bennett is sending a clear message to the Newcastle team, eg; some of you blokes aren't up to it. According to that genius Tallis, Scott won't be the last Dragon to head north. Why can't Coach Bennett attempt to win the comp with what's up at Newcastle. When he arrived at the Dragons he had a ready made highly competitive team, all they needed was some one to believe in. At the Broncos he had the whole state to choose from and at the time Brisbane were famous for warehousing players, probably still are. Would love to see the bloke coach Cronulla, a team with limited resources.

Bennett's greatest triump has been getting the squad he had at the Dragons to win minor premierships and then the big one in 2010. He worked a miracle with what he had. Neville Costigan played prop ffs.Nathan Fien was hooker. Jamie Soward was washed up before his career started. Who would have thought Ben Hornby would win a premiership at halfback? Jason Nightingale was a no name. That my friends is great coaching.

Those guys let us keep Joey - they were worth the full 20c - and i would have chipped in an extra 20 if they'd asked.

Cronulla would win their maiden comp. Carney under Bennett would be very dangerous. Just my view. Wayne is a genius.

Theres nothing wrong with bennett mate. The only reason the dragons were instantly succesful under him was because they had a team that was already established and had been for some time. The knights have alot of new faces in the side, they will naturally take a little time but theres already plenty of improvement.

We already have a side that has shown they are committed for the 80 minutes, something weve been lacking for too long. Bennett puts the fear in his players, and they respect him so therefore compete harder for him in everything they do and thats an ability no other coach has. The players are visibly fitter and we have the best roster in the comp by a country mile so dont worry, we will be smashing sides very very soon.

We would have been beaten comfortably against the sharks if not for bennetts defensive style.
