Is Gerard Raper a Raper?

He most certainly is.

Bizarre isn't it seeing as though he's what, the manager of the Roos or something.

I've met him but can't remember if he's the youngest brother or the son of Ron.

Has a Bulldogs connection I think

Bulldogs connection is that he played 2 first grade games and a few seasons in the reggies etc

Gerard Raper played 2 games for Canterbury in 1977. He is the twin brother of Peter Raper who played 2 games for Newtown in 1977(lower grade with C'Bury as well I think.They are brothers of Maurie Raper who played 33 games for the Sharks.(also played for Penrith).
According to a book I had there was another brother named Robert.Cant find who he played with (maybe C'Bury as well)but there is no record of him.I cant remember him at all.
John Raper had a younger brother Ron(C'Bury 1966-1972).Stuart and Aaron are sons of John.

Well that makes them all brothers as Maurie is John's brother as well - and you can add Mick Raper as well - now there's a bloke who can coach a football side!

Also John has another son Kurt, the middle son.
