Watching the IR now, and I'm embarressed. The Irish play non contact and what do they get? COATHANGERS!

Does anyone seriously give a sh*t about this game? Is it win at all costs? What a complete joke. The commentators should be taken out and shot. Eddie should be shot. The whole idea should be shot if they think that beating a bunch of amuteurs by taking their heads off is going to get them any respect from anywhere. It's f**ked.

Yes, because coathangers have never been known to be inflicted in other sports.

Well the All Australian players are used to the elbow to the side of the head in the AFL, and get away with it,so thay varied it by using the coathanger, and still remaining on the field. Hopoate will be crying

And how many matches will he miss down the line ?
Which makes the send off rule(particularly for elbows to the head) for AFL games ,a must for the future then.

So you're conceding you had absoloutely no idea what you were talking about when you stated "and stayed on the field" ???

How many matches will he miss? I assume he will be rubbed out of the next series, which is two matches ... Which in reality, is not that much less than an NRL player would get, on a first offence, for a swinging arm that hit the neck and the bottom of the chin.

Will he miss any AFL games? No, and so he shouldn't. the offence was commited playing International Rules, not Australian Rules.

& another point, it was by far and away not the All Australian team.

If we picked the All-Australian team we would have got belted! There is a big difference between the hybrid game and the AFL. We need speed!

I agree that the Aussies did not play the game in the right spirit.

What crap - Outside of Johnson's hit.

What should we have laid down and not tackled the players?

Is it the Australian's fault the Irish players bit back at the niggling?

That your opinion.

I still say that the Aussies play to agressively and were willing to shirtfront their opponents.
