i think sheens plan for the club-was to delevope a defensive stong pattern.get respect,through defensive and the attack would come,on the back of this game plan.He signed up guys with heaps of experinece,rather than flair.It has worked pretty well,no real blow out.Most of the scribes,are giving us points for effort,but at the end of the day we are not winning anymore games than in the past.Okay,luck and injuries have not helped,but most teams can make that call too.
I think with all the ball we had early against the rooster and come up empty is a real worry.I think a team like manly would have got over the line or even souths
I think it might be time to try a couple of young kids with flair and teach how defend--rather than try and teach a defender,how to attack.
I know its a fine line,but it seems in most games these day you have to be able to score 4 or 5 tries to win-no matter how well you defend.
I think sheens has done a good job--i was never a great fan-but i think its time to start mixing it up bit-and get a bit of flair and dash in the side--try a few of the young kids and see what they are made of---we might discover a brasher
