Look mate. You know very little if you think the longest post will get the most attention.
I take great offence at your assertion that I am in any way against the concept of this forum. That is, everyone is welcomed.
My comment: time to move on has been used a dozen times by me in an effort to get rid of this WORL v LWOS bullshit. I firmly believe that both forums are heading in their own directions and I'd like to see that continue.
I don't care if canterbury comes or goes. I just wonder why the issue keeps rearing it's head time and time again. Thanks for raising it again.
Unfortunately, you don't know the background to this and although I appreciate your right to opinion, I find it odd that you can base a whole essay on just a few lines of comment. Very selective of you.
Personally, I wouldn't have the time to do such things. You must consider yourself something of a watchdog. For what pupose, I have no idea.

BTW, if your post is directed at me, why go public?. Why not just send me an email. I'm very keen to hear of anyone's concerns and you'll find that I will always respond immediately.

I read Cryptics post before he deleted it and for some reason couldn't post then, so I'll try again.
I think Cryptic raised some very good points in his opening post,and I think you took things a little too personally Willow. If memory seves me right, the majority of the refrences hemade was based onthe fact thatnew membersshouldn't be judged onthe past.He seemed very relaxed and together in his post.
You might have been better of addressing some of his points, rather than getting all hot under the collar Willow.
Anyway let's move on.

I'm sure Matt is big enough to look after himself and doesn't need you coming in here to defend him over something so trivial.
Both MattO and myself have had our own discussions in the past and I doubt very much if any grudges are being held. We've had the odd argument and we've also had the odd agreement.

I don't understand what your problem is.
You place my name in a subject line, make absurd allegations against me and then delete your own post.
The point of it all evades me.
This is not a question of maturity ... but I do have to question why you chose to go down this path in the first place.

Perhaps you just didn't think things through.
So, on that point I think you'll agree that it's bestto just forget this and get on with things more enjoyable.

The point regarding old stuff should be forgotten and no member should be judged on the past. I agree.
But I was guilty of defending ths forum when it copped what I believed to be unwarranted criticism.

I think Willow's taken a very mature appraoch to this and met the allegations head on. Still, I disagree with everyone teaming up. LWOS v WORL is bullshit. As willow said, both are headed in their own directions.

Yeah, I think I agree with you Willow. Maybe Cryptic could have emailed you about the matter, but alot of his post was a good read to the rest of us. He made alot of points that I agreed with, and I'm not taking sides.
I admire you for taking a stance against LWOS though. Good onya champ.
But then again, hey! ... I still post at WORL, so they can't be all that bad. lol

I had a longwinded reply to this thread but my pc stuffed up and I lost it. The bottom line is everyone is welcome here, no matter what their affiliations. I just want to see the kind of debate we have seen on a continued basis without any politics start to creep in. I don't mind criticism either so long as it is construcutive. I did not see the original post but after yesterdays fiasco, all things have been laid to rest with MattO. We both know where each other stands and thats that. Threads like this will only fuel his ego. It would happen to anyone if your name was continually mentioned and up in lights. I think we should all just move on.
