The only trunk legged winger I can think of is Utai (I've deliberately excluded Hopoate). Can't see that happening as I'm pretty sure he is contracted until the end of next year. Could be wrong though (as my weekend's footy tips would suggest).

Utai would be a great inclusion, that guy is the best winger going around, why would the dogs release him other than the allegations? Thurston is the other guy isn't he? I know the dogs only signed him for 1 year for certain reasons, is he the kinda guy we want at the club. Terrific talent in those two SS, but could be more trouble than they are worth. I dunno, we probably don't have the money for those two anyway. They'll go to Manly, most probably.

If one or two of these blokes get released, it doesnt mean that they are necessarily going to be charged. It just means that all their warnings have expired.

I think the club believes we have those positions well covered.

I rate him he'd be a good talent for us if he got out of the bulldogs

Sonny Bill Williams whilst looking to have a lot of potential, is far from a certainty.
He played a gainst a centre who did not want to be there the other night & the rest were even worse.

Having said that, the Dogs make good business decisions(mostly) & they found(assessed) him when they were playing their home games in Wellington.
