Let's start it simple and use the infamous Round 17 2002 clash as a barometer. Bill Harrigan penalised the Eels 11-3 and binned four players part-way through the second half. The performance was deemed so bad, he was stood down afterwards. What made Friday night's game worse than that performance?

I'm sure i've stated this a few times. The referee didn't allow the Titans to win or lose the game on their own merits, his decisions negated exactly that. They probable wouldn't have won the game, the fact his decisions didn't allow that is what makes it the worst referee performance I have seen. There were more than 2 , but again, maybe the Bronco fans are right & the rest of the RL community are completely wrong.

Penalty try for Kahu, yes his foot/leg made contact with the ball, however for it to be a penalty try it has to be deliberate attempt to kick the ball out of his hand. Incorrect decision.

The overturning of the scrum in the 20th minute. Broncos score next set of six, stay with refs decision or review all scrum decisions or none at all.

Oates penalty, not a penalty any day of the week.

Next set milford grubbers into the defensive line, not played at, ref incorrectly rules 6 to go & Brisbane score off the next set.

But Storm/Cowboys game was reffed absolutely fine and even the Raiders/Sharks had maybe one or two questionable , it's clearly not impossible.

Nope, if you go to Suncorp expect to be shafted by the refs unfairly.

It appears a large majority of the RL community do agree with me, as you can see on social media & the media in general. Again, in this instance the minority (mostly bronc supporters) just happen to be right & the majority (majority of fans who support neither team) wrong. Ooooook then.

I think most agree the Titans copped a couple of incorrect decisions, it was unfortunate but the reaction from some fans is over-the-top.

FTR: I think yes, there should still be a suspension for a kick regardless of force (or regardless of it makes contact - I'm looking at you Graham). In saying that, this is the mess that the MRC/Judiciary have found themselves in.
