To be fair I think the Warriors were the only team that were favourites to win their next game.

Monday night hangovers have always been a bit of a problem though, especially from Monday to Saturday. If the NRL had any control over game scheduling I'd say they should look at making the Monday night teams play the following sunday. The same applies to Sunday teams playing the following Friday. It can be a little inequitable when you have certain teams playing nothing but Friday night games for 90% of the season.

The problem with fixed schedualing is that it will cost the game revenue, we must maintain the floating draw to assist with the big payday. It's the old cake and eating it scenario.

News Ltd not having to pay full fare for TV rights is what has cost the game revenue, not the threat of losing the floating schedule. AFL have a fixed schedule and get more than double per game from Foxtel than NRL despite lower ratings.

Very similar game to the second round last year as well, the physicality of the Sharkies was just immense last night. Pity for their fan's sanity is that they put the cue in the rack for the last 10
