What did we actually do during the off season????
Not bloody much by the looks of things....
Disorganised, bunched up and no one even looked like standing out.
what are we gonna do when we meet the likes of Brisbane and Penrith????
I'm so disappointed,

Agreed, Schooner. No penetration, no nothing. Looks like we're in for some great old tussles this year.......with Souths.
I even backed our herd of Brown's cows to finish ahead of Manly.

3 things cost us big. Peach's loss of the ball for the Tigers first try. Lomu's fumble which led to Tiger's 2nd. try. And McGoldrick's ridiculous kick. He hasn't improved by the look of tonight's game.
Congratulations, Blacktip. Saleh didn't put a foot wrong IMO. No worse than most of the others.

Listen too all you people saying wait till Merritt comes back, like he's gonna make a difference, the balls gotta get to him for starters and that ain't gonna happen with one off the ruck hitups....
Boring play,very boring.......

I would substitute 'boring' for 'dreadful'......

Bloody hopeless! Where was the intensity! Oh Noddy was having a loverly day laughing and smiling, kiking them over the dead ball line , oh gee so funny,oh great. Oh the plus side, Sullivan , Galloway and Stevens (he's still got it) . really went for it . but the rest ! Jeez! We were gone when Gallen went off. The whole season lies ahead and I agree how will we go against the Roosters or Knights? We will just be fish fingers for them. And Lomu , can we have our money back?

yep we are still playing very 'kimmorley' like.
bloody inside balls and flat. If anyone stayed and watched the bulldogs, now there is how we should be playing, running on to the ball.

Our defence was brilliant. The field was a sandpit and we had no Vagana or Meritt. Believe me with those 2 plus Franze in the backline our attack will grow to be unstoppable.

After the Dogs we have games against Manly, Nth Qld and South Sydney to practice our attack and pile on sum big scores. Remember we lost the first game of 2001 30-6 but we came 4th in the best season for a while so don't give up yet.

Goal line defence was good. But in the middle the tigers made way to many yards. Thier first set of 6 they got over the halfway before the kick.

It's not the backline where the problems lies.
There is NO ONE hurting the opposition in defence, or hitting the ball up hard.
And that includes the beloved Nutley.

We need Russo in there (off the bench for starters).
Isemonger has no business being out there.
Beattie needs a rocket up his arse.
Gibson defends well but offers little else.
Lomu needs to be run out wider (and taught how to hold onto the ball)
Hilder was solid, if unspectacular. Looked a little dangerous at times on the fringes.

Galloway.
Why did he have to wait until the 64th minute to come into the game?!
This kid looks the goods.

Sullivan has it all over Gibson as a dummy half.

Stevens played well, but needs more game time. And support from his front row partners.

I'll leave Gallen out as he was injured fairly early (again begging the question:- why was a 2nd rower kept on the bench for 63 minutes, when we were one second rower down since about the 20 minute mark)

hey it doesnt matter who we have in the backline, even superman couldnt get anywhere with the flat attack. Its just the same old shit from last year!!!

Kimmorley get over it, flat attack doesnt work any more!!

Kimmorley cant help it if no one is running onto the ball and hitting holes

Even Bird could have been better if other players were doing their jobs
