Is Trent Robinson the best coach in the world?

I think he is the best.

Not just that he coached the Sydney Roosters to minor premiers and Grand Final winners in his first year. But also he lifted Catalans Dragons from last (under coach Kevin Walters) to 4th in the European Super League. He is a champion coach.

I think the odds are good that Trent Robinson will coach the Sydney Roosters to a Grand Final victory in 2014, and thereby go down in history of rugby league coaches as a legend.

He is a champion coach, best coach in the world is a bit premature though, with Wayne Bennett still around and all.

The great thing about Trent is that he is very low key and gets along with everyone. That is why he can motivate the players and be on good terms with the administration (In all these ways he is very unlike Brian Smith and Ricky Stuart).

I watched the Back Page the other night (I'm a sucker for punishment) and Hooper was going on about how Trent had a dig at the NRL for their lack of promotion of the WCC. But the interesting thing he said was that even though Robbo is relatively new to the gig of head coach he's very well respected and that any criticism he had would be warranted.

I wouldn't say best in the world yet, but he's certainly got the potential to be.

Robbo was easily outcoached last night. Needs to pull his head in...rorters players lacked intensity, discipline, and commitment.
His lucky he has this roster..

Go eat curry farkwit, you have no idea what you're talking about.

In the 70th minute it was 16-8 with lol @ souffs kicking 2 penalty goals. We dropped too much ball and gave away too many penalties and had 40% possession in the second half and wilted towards the end.

If it wasnt for that dud L Burgess souths wouldve been up by much more. The right scoreline prevailed in the end.
I guess the only hope for easts is if sonny bill takes his game to another level cos he obviously has more an impact on this team then robbo the dud

Those four Roosters players who appear in your very, very old photo above (Linnett, Anasta, Leilua and Carney) don't play for the Roosters any more. They have been replaced by top-class defenders. The unsuccessful coach from that bygone era has also been replaced by a highly successful world class coach. That is why St George-Illawarra, now also minus Darius Boyd (and Wayne Bennett), can't score such tries against the Roosters any more.
