Is Witt good enough?

He's not going to be good enough yet because some dickhead won't let him play HALFBACK. He is a HALFBACK and will only get better when he is played in the role for a period of time. Simple.

As the past few weeks results in PL goes it looks like Smith is a fair way off as well....

I rate head the 2nd best Half Back in the competition running around now. Witt will stand up next season. I even think he has a shot at Qld Halves next year.

I believe Witty would be good enough if he was consistently played in 1st grade...............

I don't know what Witty did wrong in the off season last year, but quite simply he needs to put his head down and train the house down from Nov to March in order to make next the year that makes Michael Witt a household name in rugby league.
No Thorman experiment to compete with in 05, and hopefully Morris or Dykes can offer that desperately needed creativity outside of him to take the enthasis off him to a degree.

Given 1st shot in 2005 with the right go forward pack and speed in the backs Im sure Witty will have a successful and enjoyable year!!

Let's hope Witt doesn't have to contend with the Wagon-Dykes experiment next year either - that damaged his opportunity more than Thorman ever did.

The best halves combo we've had in the past two and half seasons has been Morris-Witt second half of last year. Bring it on...

exactly. Eventually he will have the confidence to Control the team around the paddock. Not if he is in out in out though.
