PARRAMATTA-bound Tom Humble has credited the Northern Pride for providing the right playing environment to help launch his NRL career.
The 20-year-old was the big winner at the Prides presentation dinner at Brothers Leagues Club on Friday night, taking home both the Player of the Year and Players Player awards.

Humble, who was used at five-eighth and fullback this season, was one of the stars of the Queensland Cup.
His brilliance helped the Pride make the grand final but he and his teammates could do little to stop a rampant Sunshine Coast winning the decider 32-18.
While the defeat still hurts, Humble said it was an honour to have his season contribution recognised at the presentation dinner.
"I was definitely surprised I got two awards, especially when I thought there were half a dozen other blokes who were just as deserving," he said.
"I was happy with what I achieved.
"I would have loved to have won that last game but success is not just about how many games you play or how many tries you score.
"I made a lot of friendships at the club.
"Duney (Andrew Dunemann) and Chris Sheppard really helped me out in the halves and guided me about and showed me a lot of little things I could do better."
The improvements Humble made to his game obviously impressed Eels coach Daniel Anderson, who signed the Blackwater product on a two-year deal.
Humble, who officially links with the Eels on November 9, wants to crack first grade in his first year at the club.
"Thats got to be the goal otherwise theres no point going down there," he said.
"All I can do is have a good pre-season and play good football like I did this season.
"Theyve got a couple of blokes leaving at the end of the year and are looking at me as more of a half or five-eighth.
"Ive spoken to Daniel Anderson and thats where he sees me in the No.6 or No.7."
Humble said it would be exciting to watch his new teammates topple the Melbourne Storm in Sundays NRL grand final.
"Melbourne are going to be tough to beat but I think the Eels can do it," he said.
"Ill be barracking for them."
