I repeat its not the players fault!!!

We have enough good players to make a real dent in this comp!!

Witness the fact that once we release a player he goes really well at another club. (Donald , Heckenberg, Maguire etc etc )
Has he suddenly found out how to play ???- no

John Morris is a classic example - a very very good player at Newcastle and in rep teams - come sto parra and is a dud.

I repeat - Its not the players!!!!!

The team is unmotivated, lacks confidence, has absolutely no direction, and has lost faith in the coaching staff.

We are a badly managed and deplorably coached team and thats where the clean out should start.

Well the players have to take responsibility. They are the ones out on the field. Brian Smith is stale and should leave but the bottom line is if the players aren't responsible for their own performances who are.

The players look unconfident to me. One of the things I don't like about Smith coached teams is that players NEVER have spontenaity. We know Dykes can do wonderful things. Now he's a frigin robot going sideways.

Well I'll be stuffed. I thought it was players who made the tackles, scored the tries and took the dough. Sorry I' have been badly mistaken.
Sure St George had blokes out last night, but Parra had about the same number on the bench.
We have players in first grade currently who are definitely not up to first grade standard. Moi Moi, Webster, Langi, Stapleton, Widders, Petersen (although he tries very hard and ALWAYS gives 100%), Armit, possibly Hopkins. Grothe's positional play in dfence is hopeless. McKinnon, Tsoulos, Wagon (great defensive effort) were the only players who could put their hands out for pay after the St George game.

So you believe Smith coached Dykes to run sideways over the touch line? I think not.

When Dykes won 5/8 of the year at Cronulla, he was running sideways looking for slow forwards to take advantage of.....there is nothing wrong with running sideways at times during a game - the problem is there is never a runner/runners to hand the ball off to.....could be a few reasons for this:
- we are badly coached to run angles
- we are unfit and couldn't be bothered
- we don't have the talent to make telling runs at holes
- we don't have the confidence to try anything in attack

Yeah Parra Pete. The coach has NOTHING to do with the team performance. That's why all clubs pay around $400 k per season for one, bonehead!!!!!!!!!
