Thats what happens when you go into origin with out of form players and halfbacks who have only played 6 first grade games. Who selects the selectors ? They should all be fired.

We all saw what a better squad it was tonight.

Bird, Gallen, El Masri, Kimmorley, Hoffman and Laffranchi should of been there from the start. Instead they went for a bunch of out of form players and payed the price.

Lyon should never have been there from the start over El Masri...everyone doubted El Masri, and look how he went tonight. Bird and Gallen shoulda been there in game 1.

He was the worst out of the bunch but he was still better than Mullen. Kimmorley played ordinary tonight but in game 2 he was great... and his kicking game was still miles ahead of Mullens.

Greg Bird and Paul Gallen most definitely should have been there from round 1. But even their presence can't counter for Jamie Lyon being on the field.

And probably defended the best they have all series, particularly in the scramble..... it was a tough win regardless of injuries.

The thing that lost NSW the series is a lack of quality in the halves. They need to find some halves quick smart.....

Amazing how much stronger our right hand side defense looked without that fat imposter there and King actually given an opportunity to play in the centres where he has been in top form for Melbourne for 2 years now.

Not Rocket science stuff but our selectors would have had the fat pig shooter there if it werent for injury and Qld would have scored another 3 tires down that side...

El Magic was great, Gidley biggest joke on par wih lyon. Farah is 10 times the player gidley in both positions he played tonight.

Farah gives us a much needed kicking option from dummy half, especially with our weakness in the halves.

Buderus has been a great Origin player for us but i think next year is Farah's time.

Lyon should have never even been considered to be in the team. El Masri did very well tonight and proved the selectors wrong!

"Bulldogs Luke Patten will never know how close he came to NSW selection in the second and third games of the Origin series. Patten pencilled in as the replacement for injured Anthony Minichiello- before selectors went for Manly's Brett Stewart at the last minute"

Given how well Stewart played in Game Two, I can't fault them for making that choice tbh, although it would've been nice to see the General in Blues gear :thumb
