I've seen the new jersey

And it looks great. It will be in the shops from the first week in December.

- The new jumper hs more black around the chest and shoulders. The fin shapes down the sides have been replaced with grey horizintal strips on either side which look like gills. Pricing will be 'about the same' as this year.

- There are new shorts and socks as well

- The away kit will be the same as this year, with the predominantly white 'fin' design jumper and black shorts

- The logo has a much better looking shark on it, on a round-ish background with 'Sharks' underneath in large print and 'Cronulla Sutherland' under that. Great improvement.

- Also available in December are polo shirts, singlets, trackies, spray jackets, caps, etc. They're even selling those warmup tights that Peach wears.

Yeah, the LG still sticks out in its own white box. Overall it's very similar to the current home jumper, but with more black and the gill shapes. I think its a little better (and I really liked this years), but I guess it will come down to personal preference.

The logo is a huge improvement though.

The LG looks pretty stupid on the current jersey I reckon. I'm surprised it hasnt been changed. Anyone wearing a jumper looks like a walking billboard...which I guess is what sponsorship is all about, but I think it's a bit over the top. It takes up a whole heap of the jersey.

I've just seen it too. The theme is of a Shark rising on the front and a shark diving on the back. The fin's, Jimbo talked of are clever in that they match both the shark silhouettes. The black over the shoulders, with the fins, is unchanged

There is little white, mainly piping and although it doesn't look predominantly black as reported there is at least twice as much black on the front as the Sharks head is in black.

I've got a very clear picture of it in my head but am no good at graphics or I'd have a go at drawing it.

And Z, my camera is too big to hide but I did take it on the off chance of being allowed to take a pic but the regular guy wasn't there and the shop assistant said no :lol:

The logo - well it was hard to see as they didn't have a big version but its a Shark that curves down and to the right. It doesn't look that fierce to me but it looks sharp :lol:
