Just read on the foxsports website that Evans has signed with Huddersfield for the next 18 months only a few weeks after telling Canberra that he had had enough of playing league. Apparently he told the pommies that he didn't see any opportunity at the raiders. I think this needs to be taken into account when the eels finally decide what they are going to do with Lyon's contract. He may not want to play in Sydney again at the moment but I bet he could be convinced by Mr Cleal!!

Just getting back to the topic for 1 minute

only thing I remember about Evans career was Moods and Burty smashing him into the goalpost @ Parra Stadium in 2002. Evans was out from about 18 mths as a result.
