i actually feel more confident seeing kent there than aitken

as depressing as it is to say raper has made the right choice with bird IMO

beattie knocking at the top grade again and the end of the merritt experiment other plusses

Now that I've regained consciousness, I'm thinking this might not be such a bad idea. Kent may well be the livewire 5/8 that I was hoping Aitken would turn out to be. An unpredictable 5/8 with spark and a classic organising halfback - it worked for Penrith...

Aitken played a fair bit of fullback in the lower grades, perhaps he is another option there in the longer term?

Been playing 5/8 lately in PL and been quite impressive

Kent the AWESOME player gets a run at half back :shock: :shock: If we win it'll be the shock selelction of the century. Does he have a kicking game? I'm more worried about the weekend than ever now. Jeez, where struggling for depth in the halves if Kent is the best we can do.

The last PL game at Shark Park Kent was brilliant.

He stood out head and shoulders over the others and he was playing 5/8.

My only real concern is how his kicking game is.
