Spot on snakeman. There is no point buying second rate players and only inconviencing our own junior potential. Example, I would definitely prefer to watch guys like Armit and Mateo go around rather than having to put up with some old fart like Pearson tippy-toing around. This year has been very dissapointing, not only because of where we are positioned on the ladder but because of the wasted opportunity in blooding future first graders, Witt and Armit plus a couple of others should have had atleast another dozen caps to their name.

I am just attempting to pick the eyes out of the very ordinary options being thrown forward.......but yes good clubs show some faith in their own juniors from time to time, like say the Broncos and Knights?????

Kent isnt just a halfback, he can also play 5/8 and Centre. Hooker is a position he might be useful in at parra.

Sharks fans have a high oppinion of him, i am sure he would do ok at Parra, but i wouldnt have him as the first string halfback.

Kent is a centre and a damn good one,played 1st grade for Saints a couple of years ago.Saints wanted to keep him but he was stuck behind Gasnier,Cooper and Timmins was playing centres a bit then too.
You could sign worse players than him.
