Reckon in due time this guy will become the league,s top ref he looks so honest with the skippers and the rules and doesnt blow his top off and no where like shayne hayne when he sent peachey off the field against parra in that unfortgetable 4-74 loss

Having had the honour of meeting Mr Robinson, he is a very good, nice and polite bloke. He is a great referee, who handles the players in a very good manner.

Isn't that England union winger (ex-leaguie) also called Jason Robinson?

Well, Robinson had a shocker on the weekend.

His attitude towards the players is pretty good, but he muffed a number of decisions.

There's a long way for him to go yet.

yeah i reckon he's one of, if not, the best at the moment. i agree, he handles heated situations well, and doesn't let captains get the better of him.

Firstly, in that unforgetable game back when we beat you 74-4, Hayne had ever reason to send Peachy from the field..though he did lose control of the game.
Robinson is a crap ref...he had a complete shocker on Saturday night and didnt keep the 10m at all, and thats for either team. Which probably explains why he's reffing PREMIER LEAGUE this week...where he deserves to stay..

Of course he's gunna make mistakes, he's only reffed 10 or 12 games. You think Harrigan stepped straight into first grade and was the same standard as what he was when he retired?

I'm more impressed with Tony Archer, although some of his games have been bad what referee doesn't have an off day? Archer is probably the best of the new lot.

Actually point taken there.....

I absolutely hated how Archer refereed, but he has improved a lot this year and i wouldnt mind seeing him as a regular....

.....Still needs to work on his whistle though..... bloody paperboy.....

Hayne would be great if he worked with the players better.... If the captain comes up to question him he just says "Go Away". It can be very annoying, but its his job to deal with these guys....

Robinson looks like he might develop into a top ref with a bit more experience.
He has a long way to go before he is as good as Harrigan. Although I believe Harrigan made the correct decision to retire from refereeing and just concentrate on his other job at the Roosters. He had too much on his plate trying to do two jobs at once. ;-)
